Why are the layer thickness profiles of brushes made with a high speed rotational bell often assymetric?

There are several possible reasons for that:
- Vertical spray pattern can be influenced by downdraft and gravity
- Sometimes air turbulences are possible e.g. due to the robot yielding in cross air flow
- Defects at the atomizer (air nozzles, high voltage fingers for external charging)
- At high speeds for the atomizer the MAGNUS effect can occure yielding in one peak being higher than the other one (the magnus effect stems from the overlaying of rotation and robot movement adding up in one side and subtracting on the other side - most prominent know from soccer using the spin of the ball for a curved flight).
